DINIS CANDEIAS
Urban + Architectural Designer for Roberts Day, NSW. Completed Master of Urban Design. 2012
After working on planning and urban design projects In Angola, Portuguese architect Dinis Candeias sought to further his studies in urbanism. A desire for new adventures, led Dinis to discover the Urban Design Centre in Australia, now AUDRC. The concept of working in a research centre dedicated to urban design, located in a booming and progressing city, with the potential for future employment opportunities, paved his gateway to Australia....
GARETH RINGROSE
Urban Designer for Barton Willmore, Bristol, UK. Completed Master of Urban Design. 2014
After completing his undergraduate studies, Gareth headed oversees and, like many before him, was inspired by the great cities of Europe. This experience fuelled a keen interest in urban design and a desire to undertake further study. After some research and a meeting with AUDRC's Dr Julian Boliter, Gareth made the decision to enrol in the Master Of Urban Design. Now based in the UK, Gareth is currently working on an exciting high profile redevelopment site in Poole, Dorset...

LAUREN DUJMOVIC
Strategic Planner, Local Government, WA. Completed Master of Urban Design. 2017
Equipped with a Bachelor of Science (Urban and Regional Planning), and a keen interest in achieving well designed, liveable places, Lauren decided to undertake further study; completing a Masters of Urban Design at AUDRC. Lauren is now working as a Strategic Planner in local government.
MELISSA SOH
Graduate Architect, Urban Designer, PLACE Laboratory, Perth, WA. Completed Master of Architecture. 2017
While studying a Masters of Architecture at The University of Western Australia, Melissa traveled to Europe where her natural curiosity to know more about cities lead her to enrol in three elective urban design elective units at the Australian Urban Design Research Centre. Now working as a graduate architect at the landscape architecture practice, Place Laboratory in Perth, Western Australia, Melissa draws on her knowledge of urban design to enhance her practice. Melissa’s interest in the interaction between people and their societies continues to inspire her both professionally and personally.
RACHEL PLEASANT
Strategic Planner + Urban Designer, Perth, WA. Completed Master of Urban Design. 2015.
The opportunity to Study a Masters in Urban Design at an off-campus location, in the heart of a capital city, surrounded by industry, would prove the catalyst for Rachel Pleasant to move west from her native NSW. With Masters degrees in Business Administration and Urban and Regional Planning, a qualification in landscape design and now a Masters of Urban Design, Rachel is a much-valued member of our teaching staff. Currently working in a Perth Metropolitan Council as a Manager of Strategic Planning, Rachel brings a wealth knowledge and experience to her role at AUDRC.
